In Washington, D.C., the Ward 7 community recently gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Phase 1 and the groundbreaking of Phase 2 of the long-awaited Skyland Town Center.
Phase 1, known as The Crest, is a 263-unit apartment complex with a fitness center, courtyard, and pool area. Phase 2 will bring much-needed retail and restaurant space to the area, supporting Mayor Bowser's goal that 95% of the residents live within walking distance of a grocery store.
Phase 2 is slated for completion by the end of 2022. In fulfilling the developer's vision to deliver a vibrant mixed-use community to the historically underserved Wards 7 and 8, more future phases are sure to come.
Bohler DC is providing site civil engineering, surveying, and permitting services.
