Supporting CHD: Bohler DC Walks for 1 in 100

Bohler DC participated in the annual walk in support of the more than 2.5 million people living with congenital heart disease (CHD) across the country. Since 1998, the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) has been fighting for the nearly 1 in every 100 children born with a congenital heart defect in the United States.

The Bohler DC team participated in the local DCMARVA walk to support the advancement of continued research, education, and access to resources that improve patient-centered outcomes for the CHD community.

Funds from the walk play a critical role in improving access to quality care by contributing to the comprehensive ACHD Clinic Directory, introducing ACHA ACHD Accreditation, participating in advocacy initiatives, and spreading a plethora of educational, defect-specific information via www.achaheart.org.
