All Affordable Community Coming to D.C.’s Navy Yard

Updated: Jan 11

A new affordable housing development is being proposed for a prominent site in Navy Yard, Washington, D.C. The NRP Group and the Marshall Heights Community Development Organization are obtaining approval for a 127-unit building between the Department of Transportation headquarters and The Yards.

The development team, with the support of Bohler DC's civil engineering and permitting teams, submitted a Planned Unit Development application for the new building.

Designed by Michael Graves Architecture, the community will include ground-floor retail, bicycle parking, a community amenity space on the penthouse level, and an open plaza space along the eastern side of the building.
