Bohler DC proudly announces that Sara Link, Branch Manager, has been awarded the prestigious DC Building Industry Association (DCBIA) Young Leader Award. This honor recognizes emerging professionals who have made a meaningful impact on the District’s real estate development industry through leadership, innovation, and service.

With more than a decade of experience and a robust portfolio of transformative projects across the District, Sara has built a reputation as a dedicated and forward-thinking leader. Her recent work includes critical contributions to some of Washington, D.C.’s most notable developments, such as Union Market infrastructure improvements, The Stacks at Buzzard Point, Skyland Town Center, and multiple mixed-use and multifamily communities throughout the city.

As Branch Manager, Sara leads Bohler DC with a people-first mindset, empowering her team and championing inclusive, strategic growth. Under her leadership, the team actively engages in meaningful service initiatives, from organizing philanthropic efforts to supporting local shelters and revitalizing parks through DCBIA Community Improvement Days.

A passionate advocate for young professionals, Sara has served as Co-Chair of DCBIA’s Young Leaders Committee for two consecutive years. In this role, she has spearheaded impactful programming — including project tours, networking events, and market discussions — that connect and inspire the next generation of real estate professionals.

Her involvement in the local industry also includes contributions to the DCBIA DC Agency Working Group (DOEE), as well as active membership in CREW DC, NAIOP DC|MD, and ULI Washington. She is also an engaged leader within Bohler DC’s Women’s Professional Network, a group instrumental in advancing gender equity and supporting the growth of women in engineering roles.

“Sara’s passion for building better communities and supporting those around her is evident in everything she does,” said Mike O’Hara, Principal. “Her leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence make her a true asset to our firm, our clients, and the greater DC real estate community. We are thrilled to see her recognized with this well-deserved honor.”

Sara’s impact continues to extend beyond project work as she helps shape the city’s future—both physically and professionally. The DCBIA Young Leader Award is a testament to her tireless dedication, her ability to inspire, and the promise of even greater achievements ahead.
