NAIOP DC|MD recently announced the winners of the 2021 Awards of Excellence for the Washington, D.C. region. Six Bohler DC development projects were recognized.
Each year, NAIOP honors projects and development teams across the region for their outstanding achievements in commercial real estate development. Bohler DC provided civil engineering design and permitting services for the following award-winning projects:
Winning “Best DC Urban Office over 150,000 SF,” 2100 L Street is a stunning redevelopment of the historic Thaddeus Stevens School.
Signal House
Acknowledged for both “Best DC Urban Office over 150,000 SF” and “Best Amenity Space,” Signal House is located in the fast-growing Union Market neighborhood and is a game-changer for D.C. office space.
As Best Multifamily Project, DC, Estate at the Yards brings luxury living to the Navy Yard district.
Another Best Multifamily Project, DC winner, Maren sits on the waterfront and is the second phase of a six-acre, four-building Riverfront redevelopment project.
The Thompson Hotel, named Best Hospitality Project, is also situated in the Navy Yard neighborhood. Developers positioned the project to re-energize the surrounding area while promoting a luxurious hospitality experience for guests.
Recognized for Best Building Renovation, 1901 L Street is an innovative vertical expansion and renovation of an existing office space.
