The five-story, 108-unit multifamily apartment building at 1400 Montana Avenue NE has been awarded LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The council rates facilities based on their level of environmental and socially responsible design and ability to improve the quality of life within their communities.
Uniquely positioned on a triangular site fronting three streets, Big Sky Flats also features amenity spaces – including a rooftop terrace with Capitol views – and 34 parking spaces. Bohler DC helped MidCity Development navigate a complex rezoning process to allow for the multi-story facility. The split-zoned site formerly housed a church. Bohler DC also provided site civil and consulting engineering, surveying, permitting, and construction administration for the project.
